Sorry that it's been a while since I've updated, I've been so 'busy' especially now, I'm working part time at my mom's school's book store. (what a mouthful, lol) I'm going to start my driver's seminar tomorrow, which is 5 hours long, (that aggravation) alone, so yeah. I hope I won't drive myself into insanity during the whole 5 hours. Last night, we celebrated Kathlyn's belated birthday and that SPM's finally over.

The party was awesome, we had chicken, lamb chops, popiahs, mashed potatoes and noodles (courtesy of Loise's awesome cooking ;]) The guests were:

The food was scrumptious and a lot. We chatted and had fun. Anson, who was also attending another birthday party earlier on, called me and asked if I could pick him because his mother was unable to pick him up since she was busy. So I dragged Bird to pick him up (Sorry Bird XP) and for some unknown reason, Sherrina wanted to tag along. She ran towards Bird's car with her Egyptian robe making a lot of racket. I'm guessing Sherrina was feeling slightly tipsy because she won't stop talking (hehe). Poor Bird, he was driving and talking to Sherrina at the same time.

Her reason was that she wanted some a/c, but regretted her decision when I told her we were going to Bandar Tyng.

Sherrina: Where are we going anyway?

Bernice: We're going to Bandar Tyng to pick up my friend.

Sherrina: Bandar Tyng? I thought you said Bandar Indah. So far! Cheh~ if I knew we were going there, I wouldn't have come lah.

Yeah.

After picking up Anson, the poor chap became Sherrina's new tipsy victim. She kept talking to him while Bird and I just focused on the road. Around 8 something, Young Kee smsed saying that he's only dropping by to give Kathlyn her present. I think it was very sweet of him to stop by and give Kathlyn her present even thought he has an appointment that night.

After a full dinner, Kathlyn and Loise announced that there were games. The first game, like last year's party was truth or dare (I recorded some videos and I'll upload them as soon as I can ;]) and then next game was... I don't what is it called O.o
It's similar to dancing statues/chairs only it involved newspapers. When the music stops, you and your partner have to stand on the newspaper without your feet sticking out of the edge of the newspaper. Each round gets harder and harder because after every round, you have to fold the newspaper in half. 1st place goes to Davis and Daniel (DOUBLE D!), 2nd place Bird and Bin (Double B!) and 3rd place goes to Flavia and Sherrina. (Sherrina is damn strong because she carried Flavia :D karate does wonders for her. Keke.)

Anyhoo, after the party, some of us were reluctant to go home, so Kathlyn taught of visiting some... she-male companions. Though I won't go into details of what happened due to the fear of getting caught. I'll leave that for memories.

Conclusion, it was the party of the year and I hope that an event like this will be held again in the near future =)

* I've decided to come up with a name of our gang, 'in bed gang' (lame, i know) for those who went out wild last night ;] The gang members include; Algernon, Alvin, Bin, Bird, Bernice, Flavia, Kathlyn, Mariah, Melissa, Ortolana, Peow Yee and Willibrord.

It was the night of our senior lives and I hope that our paths will come across each other again in the near future. Take care, my friends.

... to those who are taking their SPM and STPM examinations =) Wish you guys all the best. Don't burn the midnight oil too often, as it can affect your sleeping factors and ability to think. (It's true!) Just relax and sleep early =) Oh and don't forget to study smart too.

My dad went to KL last Thursday (16.10.08) so I took this opportunity to ask him if he could get me a new mp3/mp4 player since my old one got smashed. (I don't know how it happen but I think someone sat on it, because the screen was cracked. I had that mp4 for 2 years *sniffs*)

I asked him if he could get me the Sony NW-S700 series, but being an old-fashioned father, he doesn't know what the heck I was saying. He called me on Friday morning, asking how's everybody at home. I reminded him about the mp3 player and he said the most beautiful words, 'Yeah, I'm here at the shop already. What you want?'

My dad didn't reply. I got really worried and decided to call him. The first thing he said when he answered the phone was, 'Yeah, I bought it already.' I was practically screaming my lungs out. So I asked my dad which model did he buy, because I don't think he could have received my mms that quickly. He said, 'I bought your one la. The 700 that one,' and in the background, I heard his golf member friends saying 'A model' and my dad said 'A 700' before hanging up. I quickly searched google, looking for a NW A 700, it doesn't exist :/

So I started having my doubts about the player that my dad bought. I long await for his arrival on Sunday. I got excited when my brother went to pick up my dad but my dad's friend was tagging along and we had to drop him off at his car, which was very FAR AWAY I might add. When we finally reached home, my dad opened his backpack, exposing a really big plastic bag with the words 'Sony Ericsson' and 'Nokia - connecting people' printed in blue on both sides. I took the box out and saw:

Not bad, eh? It's a NWZ A726, the latest in A walkman series. The screen is bigger than my phone's screen, I did experience some difficulties putting on the headphones, it's the latest 'Ex-headphones' so the design is a bit tricky. But it the end, I managed to put them on =D Not only that, he bought a black coloured one! WOOT!

Update: Today, around 3 something my dad was sending me to tuition and my kakak to the hospital because she was having some problems with her eyes. On the way there, we were to supposed to pick Kathlyn up who was waiting at the Sri Taman bus stop. My dad was on the phone when we passed by Bandar Kim Fung and he was driving on the right lane. I guess he forgot that we were picking Kathlyn up so I signalled to him to drive on the left lane.

He turned to the left lane and we suddenly heard a small explosion at the back of the car, followed by a excruciating flapping sound from the rear and the driver's seat of the car. My dad was exclaiming 'what's happening?' I was speechless. My kakak was in a state of shocked and my dad immediately parked at the roadside. We were opposite the Shell gas station. I immediately got down from the car and checked the back tyre.

The tyre exploded when my dad turned to the left lane. The impact of the force was so strong that parts of the tyre's cover flew off the car and the bumper to hang of slightly from the car. The tyre was badly damaged, the fibres were sticking out from the tyre and a big piece of the tyre was laying flat on the middle of the road, with it's fibre sticking out. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures.

My dad kept exclaiming what a bad day he was experiencing because this morning he could already feel that there were some problems with the rear left tyre, it was making a lot of hissing noises. Poor daddy. =( He made a lot of phone calls and then a few minutes later a car parked in front of us to help. My dad told him the problem, and that he had to send my kakak to the hospital and me to tuition.

My dad was speaking cantonese very quickly, I could only comprehend few of the words. Next thing I knew, my dad was pushing me to the stranger asking me to go into his car. I was like 'What?!'

Daddy: Follow that uncle. He will send you to tuition. *pushes daughter*
Stranger: Don't worry, I'll send you there.
Daddy: She has a friend who's coming with her, she's waiting at the bus stop at the front.
Stranger: Okay sure no problem.
Daddy: Her tuition is at Taman Yeng Seng, opposite St.Mary's school.
Stranger: Okay okay, no problem. She will lead the way.
Daddy: Bernice, go follow that uncle. *pushes again*
Bernice: What?! Is he your friend? (I was wondering why would my dad trust a stranger to send me to tuition.)
Daddy: Yeah, he's my friend. Go with him. *looks at stranger* Thank you brother!
Stranger: No problem, Andrew! (Oh.)

Anyway, I got into Uncle's car and he drove to the bus stop.

Uncle: I bet your friend will be shocked to see a different car.

Upon saying this, Kathlyn looked at us with a bewildered expression. He's good. Anyway, Uncle dropped us off our tuition place. Thank you Uncle =) and we walked up to the classroom. Anson and the other Yu Yuan students came over.

Bernice: Hey Anson, did you see a black car at the roadside on your way here?
Anson: Oh you mean the black ninja? Yeah, I did, I thought it was Gary's car. Lol. Was it your car?
Bernice: Haha, yeah it was.
Gary: Ha, that was Bernice's car ah? How did she come to tuition then? Fly?
Anson: How can she fly oh.
Gary: Can Bernice understand mandarin? She knows how to listen or not?
Sheldon: Does Bernice understand mandarin?
Anson: Of course she can.
Gary: I think she has forgotten everything.
Sheldon: Really?
Anson: Her mandarin is better than you think.
Gary: I thought she's stupid? She was in 6 Red before right?
Anson: She's not that stupid! She was in 6 Blue la, how could you forget?
Gary: Oh. So did you fly here?
Bernice: Yeah, I flew here.
Gary: Hey, she understands mandarin.
Anson: I told you!
Gary: So how are you going home?
Bernice: I don't know. (He made a really good point.)

Suddenly Gary went on talking about my moles and how I have so many of them on my face. Anson defended me and I said that Gary looks like an Indian because he has a mole on his forehead.

After tuition, Kathlyn's mum dropped me off opposite Jia Xiang where my dad was waiting. He was driving the Nissan now. Haha.

I begged him to go to Jesselton because I was desperate to eat their Chicken Mushroom Pie. My dad dropped by and meet his golf pals. Celine and I were lucky because my dad's friend wanted to spend us drinks. He told us to order whatever we want. Thank you Uncle! Then Celine told me an interesting fact: Uncle owns the white Hummer. Small world.

After Jesselton, we went home to have our dinner. What an adventure. Hopefully something like this won't happen again.

Sometimes I feel like this accidents occur because of me. Maybe if I didn't tell my dad to turn to the left lane while he was on the phone, the tyre wouldn't have exploded. I also think that I'm a bad omen, bad things happen around me ._. I fear for my friends. I'm sorry of any unfortuante events happen to you because of my presence.

Post 2 [pissed]: My dad, Brian and I went to a restaurant called 'Cherokee Rose' opposite the Library (I fucking hate that place), and obviously they will start talking about my future. Guess what, my dad wants me to go to Form 6 while Brian suggests I should go to A-Levels.

I'm too stupid to go to A-Levels! I'm already suffering in Form 5, you want me to go to A-Levels?! Form 6 is no different, I have to wake up 5 in the morning AGAIN and wear uniform to school AGAIN and carry heavy textbooks AGAIN.

I want to learn from lecturers, not teachers! I'm over that 'high school' phase! It's like high school all over which I do not want. I'm so mad I want to chop my legs off this instant.

Why, oh why does this have to happen? Besides that, I saw a scorpion crawling under our table. Another reason for hating that place. I was complaining so much, my dad said, 'I'm not bringing you here again' but in a joking way. Other than talking about my future, I told my dad to get me a new watch and spare glasses.

Brian also talked about driving, how I should learn the basics and steal Aaron's car to learn. And then he changed his mind about how I should concentrate on SPM first, but I suggested that when I pass, I can pick up Celine so that he and my dad can relax. He immediately changed his mind and supported that I should take my test faster.

That's all for today. Tomorrow is another day, and I have Additional Mathematics tuition. Damn.
